Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between self-hosted and the SaaS subscription?
Self-hosted means you get the source code and run it on your own Vercel and Supabase accounts. You pay once and there are no recurring fees. The SaaS subscription runs on our infrastructure — you pay monthly and we handle hosting, updates, and maintenance.
Do I need to be a developer to use this?
Yes, for the self-hosted license. You will need to deploy a Next.js app, run SQL migrations in Supabase, and configure Paddle. The deployment guide and walkthrough video cover each step, and you will need basic familiarity with the terminal and Git.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not exercised access to the source repository. Because the code is delivered immediately, we cannot offer refunds once you have cloned it. Ask us anything before buying and we will answer honestly.
What if I need help deploying?
Email hello@kodevex.dev. Every license includes 6 months of email support with a 48-hour response time on business days. Most deployment questions are answered in the setup guide.
